History & Politics

Students on this stream will discover how and why our world functions the way it does. Working with academics and PhD students from Politics, International Relations and the History department at King’s. Students will get to grips with subject matter that ranges from Nelson Mandela, to biases, misinformation and the art of arguing on social media.
History and Politics can lead to a varied set of careers, and sometimes it can be an overwhelming choice. Every year, our careers day gives students the opportunity to explore some of the many options open to graduates studying related disciplines, and the different career paths they could take.

This year, the Department for Digital Culture, Media and Sport joined us to deliver a policy writing workshop, which gave students an insight into how some of the most important decisions in the country are made. 

This stream is ideal for those wanting to study History, Politics, Geography International Relations, War Studies, Defence Studies, Philosophy, Religion, Theology, European and International Studies
