Sciences
King’s College London is home to a number of world renowned departments that specialise in areas of scientific study and research. The Sciences stream gives students the opportunity to develop skills needed to study science at university level, such as data interpretation, application of scientific knowledge and research skills. Students hone these skills by completing an academic project with the support of a PhD tutor. Previous academic projects have explored topics such as how biology affects our mental health and the role of exercise in preserving the structure and function of ageing muscles.
Students on the Sciences stream receive access to sessions with professionals working in scientific industries, employability skill workshops and talks from our partner organisations. Our most recent Science students heard from the Royal College of Occupational Therapists, worked with the Wellcome Trust, and participated in a Hackathon to enhance their software development skills.
This stream is ideal for students interested in studying Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Neuroscience and Psychology.
