Life Sciences & Medicine

King’s is home to one of the largest and renowned life sciences departments in the world. Working with our NHS partners, Kings’, Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, our students will become part of a global community that is at the forefront of research and expert healthcare. 

The K+ Life Sciences & Medicine stream prepares students for study and work in biological, medical and health-related fields. You will cover a range of subjects that will give you the knowledge to help make informed decisions about what you want to study and find your route into the life sciences and beyond. You will be supported by leading specialists in the field, who can guide you in your studies and give you practical advice on study and work. 

As well as getting an insight into university study, you will also get the chance to experience hands-on activities, receive specialist medicine-specific university admission guidance,  Multiple Mini-Interviews, the UCAT and in-depth personal statement support.

Grade & Subject Requirements: Life Sciences & Medicine Stream

To be eligible for this stream, you must be studying A-Level in Chemistry and Biology.

GCSE grade 6/B in both English Language and Mathematics is required.
